Karate Seminar: Naihanchi

October 2013: Shorin-Ryu Karate Martial Arts Class taught by Sensei Jeff Day

Another sincere thank you to Sensei Jeff Day who shared his deep knowledge of Shorin-Ryu and other karate and martial arts styles with Full Potential Martial Arts students on October 3, 2013.

We worked on applications from the karate kata (form) Naihanchi. This kata (form) teaches very intricate strategies for defending, attacking and grappling. Look, for example,  at the neat trapping and grappling applications from Naihanchi!!

Brian is a life-long martial artist, athlete, and serial entrepreneur. He teaches martial arts and self defense to adult and teen students in San Diego, at the Full Potential Martial Arts dojo in Carmel Valley.
