Our friends at the Kokusai Butokukai are having their International camp this summer!

The camp will be held in beautiful Mâcon, in the Burgundy region of France, from Sunday, August 2, 2015 to Saturday, August 8, 2015. Macon is a two hour high-speed train ride from Paris, or a 1 hour train ride away from Lyon.

The chief instructor for the camp is Sensei Jean Chalamon. Sensei Chalamon is a French decorated war hero, and a venerable expert in hand-to-hand combat. I can personally attest that he is also very skillful with the knives and other blades! Sensei Jean Chalamon trained with O-Sensei Richard Kim since 1971.

Also teaching will be Daito Ryu Aiki Jujitsu expert Sensei Rod Sanford, and other experienced Kokusai Butokukai martial arts instructors.

Camp fee is €380, which includes tuition, full lodging and meals.

If you are interested in attending, please speak to your instructor. Registration is due before April 30, 2015.
