Internal Martial Arts Seminar

Deep thanks to Sensei Louis Jemison of the Zen Bei Butoku Kai, as well as the Santa Cruz crew from Sensei Rod Sanford’s dojo, for hosting an excellent internal martial arts camp in Lake Tahoe last weekend!

It was great to see everyone, and to further the knowledge of the martial arts, both internal and external. Among the highlights of the camp for me were doing Qigong on the Lake Tahoe shore at sunrise in the crispy air, and feeling the warmth of the sun as it rose above the mountains. The training in the woods was also very special (even with the slippery ice). It was also great to see all fellow martial artists from San Diego and Santa Cruz, and have an opportunity to train and spend time together!

Additional special thanks to Warren Tamashiro for organizing the camp!
